Waiting on AIT

AIT is waiting to give us our appointment date.....can anyone explain this to me? JaiLi's birth mom's interview is set for Dec. 9. Joseph at AIT said he will schedule ours within 2-3 weeks of everything being completed, including her interview on the 9th. This doesn't make sense to me, especially seeing that most everyone gets it right away. Can any of you tell me if this happened to you? They want to go over JaiLi's birth mom's finances to see why she can't care for JaiLi herself. This is scary, what will they do if they find out she has the money to keep her?
If they don't hurry up, my hubby will loose most of his vacation and to get tickets, oh well, now that is near impossible around Christmas. But..........I'm not going to loose hope, God is my refuge and I will trust in Him! He can see us through this and I know He will! I'm sorry if I sound discouraged, sometimes it's hard when my baby is on the other side of the world and I'm here waiting on people to get with the program and get her in our arms!
God is faithful!

The Announcement You've All Been Waiting For........

Yes, it's true........we received our Final Decree!!!! We are just waiting for our travel dates!!!! God is So Good To Us!!!!
We got a call from Cheryl at 1 am this morning. She said that the judge decided that JaiLi didn't need her homestudy done after all, her homestudy was scheduled for Dec. 1. She didn't even wait the 10 days between the decrees. Oh Hallelujah!!!! We should be hearing sometime in the next couple of days when we will be traveling.
I was wondering if any of you that have been over in the last few months, if you could tell me how much JaiLi's ticket is going to be, to fly home?
Thanks for all your prayers, I will let you know when our travel dates are!!!

JaiLi is 6 months old!

We have heard that the judge has the birthmom's homestudy, this is good! We are just waiting to hear about JaiLi's homestudy, which doesn't take long and they have, on 1 occasion, not had to do it! Plus, Cheryl Dunn, a lady with the orphanage, has offered for us to stay at her house while in Taiwan! God is working Miracles! He is so good to us!
