Well, we made it to St. Joseph, MO. Hallelujah! By yesterday we were all exhausted! JaiLi slept through the flight from Chicago to Kansas City, then the trip to St. Joseph, then all the way to see mom and dad and half way through the visit. Then someone coughed or sneezed or something loud and she finally woke up. The only problem with all this sleeping is that then she woke up at 3 this morning and cried until we played with her for a while. She was awake for about 2 hrs. then she fell asleep again.
Grandpa has been having a ball with her, he has fed her twice and actually got down on the floor and played with her until she fell asleep. I should've taken a picture (I'll try to get a picture later, if it happens again).
Anyone around here that would like to come see her, just call and we will try to meet you somewhere. And everyone at home, we should be heading home either Saturday or Monday, we haven't decided yet. We will see how the week goes.
Love to all and thanks for all your prayers! We are so thankful that we had a safe trip! God has been with us the whole way! (I will try to post some pictures of when we came home and when she first saw Grandma and Grandpa, a little later in the week)

PS JaiLi is making this cute face where she scrunches her eyes and nose up when you look at her, she has such a cute personality!

So glad your family is home safe! It seemed like a whirlwind of a trip! But I know every bit of the wait and whirlwind was worth it for the precious gift from God, JaiLi! Congrats to you all!
